Join us to learn about the intersection of healthcare, law and ethics and interesting cases from Diane Hoffmann, the Director of the Law and Health Care Program and medical school elective at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law!  

This event will touch on cases that have come before State Medical Boards and raise issues about professional behavior in the state of Maryland. The first involves a physician charged with a sexual boundary violation of patients, and the second focuses on a physician charged with assisted suicide in Maryland. The third case focuses on a physician who was charged with spreading misinformation regarding COVID vaccines in the state of Washington.
