Before You Arrive

  1. Login to your SOM email [O365 Webmail]
  2. Submit a photo for your OneCard
  3. Login to SURFS and add your personal info
  4. Complete the Photo and Name Recording Form
  5. Complete HIPAA 125 Training
  6. Access UMB Zoom
  7. Log into your MedScope account to access your student portfolio and enter a FERPA release status
  8. Set up TurningPoint account before Monday's sessions.

Recommended Laptop Specs

  • Laptop or Desktop (tablets are not supported by exam software)
  • OS: Windows 10 or Mac OS X v10.11 or higher
  • Hard Drive: 128 GB or higher
    RAM: 8 GB RAM or higher
    Wireless: abgn
    Webcam and microphone

Graduation Requirements

  • MS1: Introduction to Medical School; Foundations; Blood & Host Defense; Brain & Behavior; Practice of Medicine
  • MS2: Cardiovascular, Renal & Pulmonary; Skin, Bones & Musculature; Life Cycle; Multisystem; Clerkship Prep
  • Clerkships: Core Medicine, Core Surgery, Family Medicine, Neurology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry
  • Clinicals: 2 Subinternships; 6 Electives (1 elective or 1 subinternship must be in the Department of Medicine); ICM4
  • Pass USMLE Step 1
  • Take USMLE Step 2
