Join the Christian Medical Student Group on Wednesday, December 6th at 12 pm for a presentation and Q&A with Dr. Charles Callahan, who will talk about his experiences caring for patients in Sierra Leone during the Ebola epidemic. You may recognize Dr. Callahan as the physician who lectured about Baltimore in the first week of medical school. He currently serves as UMMC’s Vice President of Population Health and has most recently provided public health leadership to the city and state during the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Callahan will share how his Christian faith has influenced his career and his approach to patient care.

Come join us Thursday, December 7th at 12-1 pm to hear Meredith Zoltick, CRNP at the Institute of Human Virology at University of Maryland, talk about caring for patients who are sex workers! In addition to healthcare-specific information, her talk will also cover language and information on decriminalizing sex work. Lunch will be provided!

Our White Coats For Black Lives Exec Board is excited to invite you all to dinner at Docks on the Harbor, which is located in the Inner Harbor neighborhood! This gathering is set to take place next Friday, December 8th, at 6 PM. It will simply be a time for us to fellowship and celebrate all of your all's wonderful accomplishments. Please note that our organization will not be covering the bill (although we would have loved to), so each of you will be responsible for covering your portion.
